"Chico and Rita" review: "See in theaters"

     As one of the qualifying movies to join the Oscars is this. And this score is awesome.
    Already has an amazing score on RT with a 95% fresh (awesome). As some critics say "A visually hypnotic, musically electric film." And some bad reviews like "Animated musical romance strikes an off note." But still it has beautiful animation, with great music.
  So go check it out.

    So those are 2012's new movies. Some I haven't heard of and others look amazing. Like I'm a huge fan those manga movies like Ponyo and all that. The new Madagascar just looks like a fail, so does The Lorax. I am excited for The Pirates, Brave, and Rise of the Guardians. And the new Ice Age will be the best of the series or the worst of them all. And well Arrietty all ready came out in Asia and all that stuff, so on the RT score, it already got a 100% fresh (awesome). And Beauty and the Beast is already a win with a score of 92% fresh (awesome).
    I wanna see Hotel Transylvania because Adam Sndler, Kevin James, and Andy Samberg are in it. And Cheech and Chong are awesome.

This is truly amazing. And it was all done with a normal phone. Check it out it will blow your mind.

Amazing "Angry Birds" gingerbread house

This is a holiday Angry Bird themed gingerbread house. Its kinda oppressive but still, its really good. Check it out.

"Tintin" opens up at #5

    These box office numbers suck. I mean the new Chipmunks movie is still at #3. And I saw Steven Speilberg's War Horse witch was truly beautiful. It had amazing directing with great music, and still it didn't make it at the box office. At least The Incredibles directer Brad Bird's first live-action film Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol got to #1.
     Tintin got to #5, not so good at the box office. I thought it would of got more but still. At #1 is Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (93% fresh, awesome), at #2 is Sherlock Holmes: A game of Shadows (59% rotten, okay), and at #3 is Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked (13% rotten, very bad). Come to look at it there all sequels. Arthur Christmas is still holding strong at #8. 

Disney to make new classical fairytale

      Disney is famous for its fairy tales even there new ones are great. Like The Princess and the Frog and Tangled. Now theirs a new one to the list.
       Disney took away the date November 27th, 2013 from Pixar with there untitled dinosaur film, so now the studio will decide on an other release date.
      This movie has been on hold for a decade. The film is based on author Hans Christian Andersen’s 1845 fairytale The Snow Queen. The film was originally called The Snow Queen now it is called Frozen. It will be hand drawn witch is awesome. Also will legendary musician Alan Menken who did the music for The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast.
    This actually sounds good.

Atlanta Braves sueing "Brave"

   Atlanta Braves are a good baseball team. But when it comes to common sense they suck.
   They are sewing Pixar's up coming film Brave basically because there them is called the Braves and the movie is called Brave.
   But still on Dictionary.com there are two definitions for Brave. First is commonly used as“possessing or exhibiting courage or courageous endurance.”Then it is used as “a warrior, especially among North American Indian tribes".
   Yeah this is just dumb.

Classic Pixar Easter eggs in "Mission Impossible: Goast Protocal"

   Pixar director Brad Bird who directed The Incredables and Ratatouiie also did he direct The Iron Giant. Now he made the new Mission Impossible. But he still kept the classical Easter eggs from all the Pixar films. Hears a look-

       Will the classic A113 sign is in the live action film too. Also is Day and Night directer in the movie. Hes the voice on the line talking to Tom Cruis' character. Hears the spots from the movie with eggs-
  

• Josh Holloway‘s character Agent Hanaway uses a “class ring” to subdue a bad guy. The ring has A113 emblazoned on the side.

• Tom Cruise‘s character Ethan Hunt gives an  extraction access code verbally over the phone: “A113″

    So maby there can be some eggs in Wall-E and Finding Nemo directer Andrew Stanton's live action John Carter.

"The Adventures of Tintin" review: "See in theaters"

     Finally this movie comes out, I've been waiting for this since the first teaser trailer came out on line.
   With the legendary director Steven Speilberg directing, this will be truly epic. He is also Nickelodeon's second best director next to Gore Verbrasky witch directed Rango. This has amazing animation, It makes The Polar Express look lame. Even though when it first came out the RT score was 89% fresh, but now its at 77% fresh, but that's still good. Although some people didn't like it as one critic said that it reminded him too much Jonny Quest.
     Any way go see this in theaters, I might even go. 

"Rise of the Guardians" poster

     2012 looks like an amazing year for animated films. Now Dreamworks is working on both Madagascar 3 and this movie that looks awesome.
     The poster shows a very bad ass Santa. It looks awesome. Hears the plot synopses-

      "Rise of the Guardians tells the story of a group of heroes – each with extraordinary abilities. When an evil spirit known as Pitch lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal Guardians must join forces for the first time to protect the hopes, beliefs and imagination of children all over the world."

"Who Framed Roger Rabbit" sequel to be stalled?

   There has been allot of talk of the sequel to the best film I've seen in a long time. I have no idea what "staled" means but it cant be good. I wanna see the long eared rabbit with (hot for a toon) Jessica Rabbit.
   Producer Kathleen Kennedy said “We’ve attempted a script, but it’s not really moving forward right now,” also did she say “That’s not to say it won’t in the future, but there’s no spotlight on it now.”
   So could this be the end of Roger Rabbit. I wanna see all the toons in every studio to reunite again.

"Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked" review: "Skip it"

        I hate these squirrels.
   The animation is good but the story is just bad. Skip it, just don't even say the name of this movie.
 

"Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked" opens up at #2

    I've never really liked the Chipmunks, and looking at this movie I hate it even more.
   With a 14% rotten (very bad) this movie is still favorites to young kids. Its the lowest score with both films.
  At #1 is Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (60% fresh, good) at #3 is Mission Impossible: Goast Protocal. Arthur Christmas still in the race at #8
   Just don't watch this.

How to animate "Rango"

This is just beautiful. This featurette made me smile from start to finish. I like how he says that this is there first time animating something, and this is the best movie I've seen with the greatest animation I've seen in years.

Cody Cameron and Kris Paern to direct "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2"

     It was originally said that original Meatballs directors, Phil Lord and Chris Miller were going to direct the sequel, and it was gonna be based on the books sequel, Pickles to Pittsburgh. Now theres another story.
     Sony animators Cody Cameron and Kris Paern will direct the second but it will be an original script. Also will Horrible Bosses writers will write it.
      It better be the same Flint Lockwood because Bill Hadar is hilarious.

Witch "Tintin" book will be the second movie?

    The Tintin movie that is coming out in Wednesday is based on the comic series by Herge. Will you might think that the movie coming out is based on the first book of the series, will actually Secrets of the Unicorn is the eleventh book of the series. So now what will be the second movie based on?
    Its rumored that the second will be based on Prisoners of the Sun. But now producer Kathleen Kennedy says the truth-

    ‘Prisoners of the Sun’ was a very, very early discussion, and it isn’t under discussion anymore. We’ve still got Anthony Horowitz working on the second movie, and we don’t know what we’re doing with the third movie yet.

        So now what we’re thinking [for the second film] is what new characters do we want to introduce? Well, we’ll probably introduce Calculus and bring him into the fold.

     So this probably means that its gonna be based on The Calculus Affair. Then she says that its a bit tricky for Peter Jackson since hes directing both the new Tintin and the second Hobbit-

          It’s tricky getting everybody but that’s how we did the first movie, sort of passing the baton. When Steven was available, he’d jump in, and when he was busy, Peter would pick up the slack. It was kind of amazing how they’d work together. We never knew how this would work, but it worked out really, really well.

       Well there it is, witch could it be, Prisoners of the Sun or The Calculus Affair?

         

     

"Kung Fu Panda 2" DVD review: "Buy it"

   Although it didn't get any Golden Globe Awards nominations, this did get twelve Annie Award nominations.
    This is by far the most amazing movie I've seen this year. And when critics say "An instant classic" this is truly an instant classic (also with How to Train your Dragon, Tangled, and this years Winnie the Pooh). This one is better than the first. It comes with a double DVD pack. With a short of an all new Po adventure.
     Any way but it, this too will be your favorite movie too.

Nickelodeon's full anemated "Angry Birds" Christmas special

"Wreck the Halls" is out and with Angry Birds celebrating there second birthday, Nickelodeon has made an animated special for the birds. Man, this could be the new Charlie Brown Christmas. Check it out this is amazing.

More news on Pixars "movie about the brain"

   We all heard of the new Pixar movie that is set on the human mind, well now we hear that the movie will take place in the mind of a young girl.
    Next to Brave this is another film with the main character a female. This is what directer Pete Docter said-

       Pete Docter, from Monsters, Inc. and Up, is doing a new film that takes place inside of a girl’s mind and it is about her emotions as characters, and that is unlike anything you’ve ever seen.

      The title is yet to be announced. All we know is that Toy Story 3 screen writer Michael Arndt will write this. Also will Arndt write a theatrical movie about the show Phineas and Ferb.
      The movie will either come out November 27, 2013 or May 30, 2014.
     This kinda sounds like the clever movie Osmosis Jones. This movie will proboly have the same idea as that movie. Like when it says "about the human mind" its probably not gonna show just the brain, theirs probably little anatomy creatures in there (like how Osmosis Jones is about a smooth white blood cell, voiced by Chris Rock that keeps out germs from the body of Frank, who is Bill Murphy).
       They just better not let Justin Beiber do the score for this since its about what girls think.

Greg Daniels to make 2 new animated sitcoms

     My favorite The Office and other fave Parks and Recreation creator Greg Daniels is a well known worker at NBC, but good enough to make two animated projects.
     This well be a sitcom but not like in The Office and in Parks and Rec were its a one single shot camera movement and is about the daily life of non-ordinary people working by wasting time looking at funny videos, and sometime porn. This will be about a young girl and her high school volley ball team. It will be written and produced by The Office's Mindy Kaling who is the funny Kelly Kapoor, also will she be the the voice of the girl.
     The other one will be about a group of twenty something year old men who share a house in LA's affluent Hancock Park neighborhood. It will be written and executive produced by Park and Rec's producer Alan Yang.
     These sound weird, they sound like something that would be on Animation Domination.

"Tintin 2" to be out in 2014

     Steven Spielberg is busy this year with both War Horse (I want to see) and my anticipated film this year Tintin. Now the release for the second Tintin is revealed. Also did he talk about a fourth Jurassic Park.
     All we know is that the producer for the first Tintin, Peter Jackson will direct the second, but now co-producer Kathleen Kennedy said this-

       Oh yeah, it is being moved forward, in fact Steven and I were talking about it this morning. We’re working on a script right now, we’ll see a script probably February or March. If we can do some camera capture this summer, which I think we could do, then we would be on track to have the movie either Christmas 2014 or summer 2015, and so that’s what we’re looking at right now.

       So that's that. I hope this is good.

"The Smurfs" DVD review: "Skip it"

    The Smurfs is out right now, and getting rented allot, the weird thing though is that I went to go rent the new Winnie the Pooh and it still hasn't even got to Blockbuster yet.
    The DVD has a new short with an all Christmas themed movie. Also does it come out with a little Clumsy Smurf plush toy at Wal-Mart.
   So just skip it, you dont want to do anything with this movie.

   It was said yesterday day that a Canadian oil company has renamed its self after the most amazing animation company Pixar. Its not said that if the studio is gonna sue the company yet.
   Speaking of oil and Pixar, it is rumored that there will be a second Finding Nemo about the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. Could be a sign.             

"Looney Tunes Show" DVD clip

I just love the Looney Tunes. It has the best toony looking animation I've seen. I love the idea of it, "How the Looney Tunes cast is in modern times."

"Arthur Christmas" opens up at #4

   The new Twilight movie is giving the new competitors a run for there money as its been #1 for 2 weeks already. Even the new Happy Feet is winning Arthur Christmas.
    At #1 is The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (26% rotten very bad), at #2 is The Muppets (98% fresh awesome), and at #3 is Happy Feet Two (42% rotten okay). Puss in Boots is still in the race as its in #8.
    This movie looks awesome. And you know the elves in this movie act like the elves off of the ABC Christmas special Prep and Landing, you know like all spy like.

Dreamworks to make new studio?

     Just today Dreamworks decided to make another film studio, but on theme parks. Hears the quote- “Dreamworks in talks to set up a joint venture studio in Shanghai…to produce animation and design theme parks.”
    I have no idea what this is.

"Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas" review: "Watch it"

     Thanksgiving is today and theirs allot of specials out today. Like all the lovable characters in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Or tonight on NBC with Horton Hears a Who! on ABC is A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.
    In this all Christmas themed Ice Age it has more of the new baby (she talks now). The animation could do some work. But still. And after that is the new Life is a Warm Blanket Charlie Brown.
   So watch it and happy Thanksgiving from A-Mation!

First "Beauty and the beast 3-D" trailer

I don't know why there releasing awesome movie in 3-D. Like The Lion King was 91% on Rotten Tomatoes but after its 3-D release it dropped to a 89%.
After this Disney will release Finding Nemo in 3-D. Also out is James Cameron's Titanic in 3-D.

   In this new 3-D animated short of the Looney Tunes duo is one of the many funny shorts.
   Amazing animation, with the classic music, and speaking of classic the voices of the characters is the same 1951 recording of Mel Blanc, the origanals.
   Wait tell rent, because its Happy Feet Two.

"Small Fry" review: "See in theaters"

   This is my first review for a short so when I mean "see in theaters" just go watch The Muppets (97% fresh awesome).
   Still has the same animation as the last Toy Story, and the same great story. I haven't seen this one or the Hawaiian Vacation in front of Cars 2. Well no one in my family likes The Muppets and Cars 2 looks bad.
   So go see this in theaters, with The Muppets.

"Arthur Christmas" review: "See in theahers"

    With the hilarious new Harold and Kumar Christmas movie this is another best looking holiday themed movie.
    Got the best animation I've seen from Aardman, and this is the first the company has worked with Sony. The bad thing is that they chose Justin Beiber to sing the classic song Santa Clause is Coming to Town. This movie looks awesome. As this got an awesome 94% fresh on the Tomatoemeter.
    So go see this in theaters. I might even go.

"Happy Feet Two" opens up at #2

      Like I said knowing how everybody loves (I don't know why) but the new Twilight beat the new animated film Happy Feet Two.
      At #1 is The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, at #2 is Happy Feet Two, and at #3 is Immortals. Puss in Boots is still in the box-office at #5.

     Some of them I've never heard of the only ones I've seen was The Ballad of Nessie (short in front of Winnie the Pooh) and half of I Tawt I Taw a Puddy Tat witch is about the loveable Tweety and Silvester from the Looney Tunes (appears in front of Happy Feet Two). The Smurfs one looks cool and its from Sony, at least its not like the movie animation, good ol' 2-D. 

"MW3" highest grossing animated project of the year?

   No its not Tintin or Happy Feet Two, heck its not even a movie. They say that the Call of Duty: MW3 is the highest grossing animated thing of 2011.
   Could it be? Yeah it is. We all knew this. So, its not really a surprise to me so. Witten its 24 hour release it sold over 6.5 million units in the US and UK earning over $400 million and working its way up to $1 billion. This even beat the new score for the last Harry Potter.
   This is what CEO of Activision Bobby Kotick said- “We believe the launch of ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3′ is the biggest entertainment launch of all time in any medium, and we achieved this record with sales from only two territories,”
   So yeah its a big deal.

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" review: "Buy it"

     Once the new Call of Duty game came out, all most all the kids at my school bought it first day it came out (all nerds)... except for like three of my friends have them so...
     With this being the most well bought and most popular animated type thing of the year, this game deserves more than just being played. There are also talks for a TV show about the game. Perfect animation and allot of breathtaking action for all the gamers. And like I said everything is better with Jonah Hill. I haven't played but man, do I want to.
    So buy it, you wont put the gaming controller down for a second.
   

Illumination Entertainment to make a "Woody Woodpecker" movie

   After making Despicable Me and Hop and in the works with The Lorax, Illumination Entertainment is being bigger and bigger. Now making mine and my brother's favorite cartoon character come to life like never before. The problem is that its gonna be in CG, I mean didn't they learn anything about Hop. Why can't people just make classic cartoons like there supposed to be like Winnie the Pooh.
    Blades of Glory writers John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky will work on it saying there gonna- “modernize the character for contemporary audiences” Also were they executive producers for King of the Hill and now after making there huge and long waited return to MTV, Beavus and Butt-head.
    So they ruined Alvin and the Chipmunks, Yogi Bear, The Smurfs, now they better not ruin Woody Woodpecker and Sony's up coming animated Popeye.

"Scrat's Contential Drift: Part 2" short

If you saw Rio you would of seen a little short of another amusing short starring the hilarious Scrat. Hears the second part to this. I think this is gonna appear in front of the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie. And this is basically just a trailer for the new Ice Age film. This is cool and hilarious. Hope you like it.

"Happy Feet Two" review: "Wait till rent"

     The sequel for the award winning film Happy Feet came out today, and it is probably not gonna be your favorite film like the first one. But hey.
    It got 42% rotten (okay) on the Tomatoemeter. Its got pretty good animation, with an amazing cast. The film will lose you at the beginning of the 40 minutes. Although your kids will find it cool, and you might find this a bit cute, but still not worth wasting your money. And I would probably watch this just because the very hot Sofia Vergara is in it. 
   So just wait till rent, because this movie isn't worth the wait.

"Mario and Sonic at the London Olympic Games" launch trailer

The first was cool, the second was better, but now it looks awesome. This time in London. And anything is good with Mario and Sonic together. I also want to play Super Mario 3-D Land.

First "Brave" trailer

Finally the first trailer for the epic looking film is out. Still looks awesome, but kinda looks cheesy and kinda like How to Train your Dragon.
It shows more of the lead female role. And more of the villainous bear. So hears the trailer hope you like it.

I don't know why Warner Bros. is releasing a new trailer for the sequel to Happy Feet since its coming out Friday already. But whatever. Hears the trailer.
Will to be honest this will probably not be at the #1 spot at box-office, considering the fact that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 is coming out Friday (even though it got a 20% rotten on Rotten Tomatoes).

"Tintin" is the highest grossing film in India

    Tintin is the highest grossing movie in India according to Sony. It earned $1.46 million by opening in that county.
   Man I want to see this.

New "Brave" images

    Pixar's new Brave is coming, and well we need some info of it. The studio has released three new pictures of the film (looks allot like How to Train Your Dragon). These look amazing, but it must be hard to render and animate the girl's hair.
   This is what directer Mark Andrews said about the film-

       She’s your anti-princess… She isn’t your typical princess. She doesn’t wear nice clothes except in a couple of scenes when her strict mom, Queen Elinor, makes her do it for special functions. She’s an active and action-oriented person. She wants to get out in the outdoors of the Highlands, escaping from castle life and exploring the woods.

"Tangled" to get short before 3-D "Beauty and the Beast"

    What ever happened to Repunzle and Flyn Rider's wedding? Will now all those questions will be revealed. Its gonna be called Tangled Ever After. It will premiere in front of the 3-D Beauty and the Beast. Hope its good. The poster above.

First "Beauty and the Best 3-D" poster

     After re-imagining the classic Lion King and in talks about doing Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid, Monsters inc, and other films in 3-D Disney has made the poster for Beauty and the Beast. The poster looks pretty classical, hear it is. And I think that Disney should make A Bugs Life in 3-D, I mean I think that everybody forgot about that movie.

First "Toy Story" short image

      Above is the new image for the short that will be released in front of The Muppets. I still haven't seen the first short in front of Cars 2. In this one Buzz is replaced by a Happy Meal toy and Woody and the gang must bring him back. Thats why Buzz is so small. Hears what director/writer Angus MacLane had to say-

      It’s like the Prince and the Pauper tale for toys. Except one of them happens to be 3 inches tall… There’s something funny about having the action hero have to deal with something very mundane like escaping from an awkward social situation. To me, that’s funny.

     Pixar short Day and Night director Teddy Newton will be the voice of the small version of Buzz, but of course Tim Allen will play the original Buzz.  

Is Pixar's winning streak over?

     After making there first bad movie, Pixar will probably not get an Oscar. Hears what entertainment reporter Patrick Goldstein had to say (witch is kinda harsh)-

        “There’s no guarantee that “Cars 2” will even end up being a nominee with such a crowded field… In fact, the reviews for “Cars 2” were abysmal, with the film earning a lowly 38% fresh rating at Rotten Tomatoes. Just how lowly is a 38% rating? Put it this way: “Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family” and “Cowboys & Aliens” got higher Rotten Tomatoes scores. It didn’t stop lots of people from seeing the film, but it is bad news for Pixar’s chances of winning the Oscar for animated feature, a category Pixar has won four times in a row and six out of the last eight.” 

      So maby this is true. And Cars 2 does look dumb.

     Family Circus cartoonist has passed away yesterday. After making a beloved comic strip next to Peanuts and all that. So let him rest in peace, he will be missed.

"Harold and Kumar" to get animated series

       After having the popular movie (I wanna see) out last Friday the idolized characters Harold and Kumar will have there own cartoon. It was gonna be live-action but you know with all the marijuana stuff they had it animated. Although the actors of the movie will not be voiced in the show.
     MTV and Comedy Central are bidding for the rights for the show. Also in talks is that Niel Patrick Harris will be a character instead of a guest star. But the movie writers will write the show too.
     The new Harold and Kumar movie has some good use of clay-mation. And speaking of MTV why don't they show any music any more.

Wrinkles is also one of the 18 eligible films to get an Oscar. This is a Spanish film based on the comic book. I want this to be nominated, since I'm Mexican. Its called Arrugas (Wrinkles). Hears the plot-

Based on Paco Roca’s comic of the same title (2008 National Comic Prize), Wrinkles is a 2D animated feature-length film for an adult audience. Wrinkles portrays the friendship between Emilio and Miguel, two aged gentlemen shut away in a care home. Recent arrival Emilio, in the early stages of Alzheimer, is helped by Miguel and colleagues to avoid ending up on the feared top floor of the care home, also known as the lost causes or “assisted” floor. Their wild plan infuses their otherwise tedious day-to-day with humor and tenderness, because although for some their lives is coming to an end, for them it is just beginning.
This kinda looks like those Animation Domination shows, and Reccess.

Watching a voice being made is amazing to see. Especially if its Seth MacFarlane, since hes the voice of Peter, Stewie, and Brian, but for now I'll show you Brian. Hear it is.

    Jonah Hill has been in allot of movies this year. Like in Money Ball and coming up 21 Jump Street and I wanna see The Sitter. But with his own cartoon. Coming to Animation Domination joining The Simpsons, American Dad, Family Guy, and The Cleveland Show.
   It has beautiful music with amazing animation, and everything's better with Jonah Hill.
   So watch it, its actually good.

      There's been allot of good movies this year with allot of bad films too. This was the year of Pixar's first bad film and Nickelodeon Movies best rated film since my favorite The Wild Thornberrys Movie. Well the list for the most eligible movies to be at the Oscars.     Some movies aren't out yet so really not much to say. The last four are foreign. But what I'm rooting for is Rango, Kung Fu Panda 2, Puss in Boots, Rio, and Winnie the Pooh. The rest are just bad. I wish they had the Mexican Top Cat, Don Gato on the list.
