Mo-cap not even animation?
Space Jam producer Steven Paul Leiva claims that Mo-cap isn't even animation. I would like to say that he is wrong. Mo-cap is definitely animation. Like the first time I saw Avatar, I couldn't tell if it was live action or animated.
He declared this to Stephen Spielberg's next film The Adventures of Tintin. Also to my favorites The Polar Express, and Disney's A Christmas Carol. With this years Mars Needs Moms and also with the Oscar winner for best animated film, Happy Feet.

"King Kong" to be animated
Fox has announced that there animation studio will be making a twist to the hit movie King Kong. They say that its gonna be from King Kong's point of view. I guess this time Kong's gonna talk or something. Which wouldn't be surprising since all animated films have talking animals ( Rio, Kung Fu Panda 2, and Rango).
I guess it'll come out after Family Guy or something.

Animating "Po"
Dreamworks made this clever feature of how Po came to life in in the hit comedy Kung Fu Panda 2. I got to say it was a little cute.

"How to Train Your Dragon 2" plot
Dreamworks announced that last years hit (and Dreamwork's first film that got 98% fresh on the tomatoemeter) How to Train Your Dragon. I never seen it but I hear its really good.
Anyway Dean DeBlois, writer of the film is in the talks for a Dragon sequel.
More interesting, is that the director said,
Finally he gave us the plot- The sequel to How to Train Your Dragon continues the adventures of the son of Stoick the Vast and future leader of the Hairy Hooligan Viking tribe. Although the skinny, freckled Hiccup has more brains than the rest of the Hairy Hooligans put together, he has a hard time garnering respect from anyone, least of all his arch-rival, Snotlout. It doesn’t help that Hiccup’s dragon, Toothless, is predisposed to hypochondria and cowardice. During a pirate-training session, them meet up with charming “Alvin the Poor-But-Honest-Farmer,” who is keen to help them discover the legendary treasure of Grimbeard the Ghastly. After a series of hair-raising, humorous escapades on the high seas, a deadly island, and an undersea cavern, Hiccup learns some surprising things about his previously undervalued abilities.
Not only are they gonna make a sequel but a trilogy. The films gonna come out June 20 2014.

There are certain characters and situations that come into play in the second film that will becomes much more crucial to the story by the third. Other threads from the first will begin to pay themselves off in the second. It’s my way of guaranteeing that it is not another adventure that we throw the same five or six characters into, that it feels like part of a larger story.I’m going to be starting work on it this year, yeah. Yes I [know things about it]. I know everything about it. I read it last week! It’s phenomenal. And it’s not a sequel; it’s a chapter two. Because there are eight books, so it’s not just finding crazy situations to put our characters in. It’s very much a second act of a three act thing.

New "Cars" character
Cars 2 is coming out June 24, and with a new Cars there's gotta be some new characters. This character is Finn, a french car that I guess is a spy. The clip below shows the personality of Finn, it also shows how rusty Mater's oil can be.

"The Hangover" writers to make "Yogi Bear 2"
The people that wrote the funniest movie in the world are planing on writing a sequel to last year's Yogi Bear. Also is Rio writers that are doing this.
So its either gonna be all weird or its gonna be not a disappoint. I liked the first Yogi Bear, it wasn't my favorite film of the year, but it was fun to watch. I just thought that they needed to have more Yogi then just Ranger Smith.
The writers of The Hangover wanted to do this since they were barley in The Hangover Part II. Maybe thats the reason that it got 33% rotten (OK) on the tomatoemeter.
