Ice Age 4 and new cast members.

Blu Sky is developing yet another Ice Age film that will be called "Ice Age: Continental Drift." I love the Ice Age films, but I think that 3 is enough.
Anyway, the next film is already casting many stars to the film. They already have Jeremy Renner, the talented Jennifer Lopez, the young Keke Palmer, the funny Wanda Sykes, the one and only Drake, and the hilarious Aziz Ansari. Of course they still have Ray Romano as Manny, Queen Latifa, and Josh Peck. Here is a description of the cast with there characters.
Jennifer Lopez will be “Shira, a sabre toothed who melts the heart of Diego, Jeremy Renner is “Gutt, a self-styled master of the high seas,” As for the rest of the new people: their roles are a great mystery!
Steve Martino, the directer of the film, said that the next movie is about - "One of filmdom’s most beloved trios — Ice Age’s Manny, Diego, and Sid — embark upon their greatest adventure after cataclysm sets an entire continent adrift. Separated from the rest of the herd, they use an iceberg as a makeshift ship, which launches them on an epic seafaring quest to find the others. Manny and the gang are challenged like never before to become heroes and do the impossible, as they encounter exotic sea creatures, explore a brave new world, and battle ruthless pirates.
There is no date for this film yet, but if you liked the first 3 I think you'll like this one.

"The Incredibles 2" delayed

After getting shut down by "Marvel", Pixar was planning on making a sequel on the film "The Incredibles. Just today John Lasseter announced that we shouldn’t expect a sequel to The Incredibles just yet: “We love [The Incredibles]. We love those characters and love that world too, but there’s nothing in the works right now.” He says.
Pixar now making Monsters inc. 2 ( Now called Monsters University) and Brave, with there cancelled project "Newt" ( Thanks to "Rio") and now in production "Cars 2", they need a brake. Unlike Dreamworks that is making 6 Kung Fu Pandas, 4 Madagascar's, and 3-8 "How to Train Your Dragon" films.

Marvel/Pixar movie idea cancelled

Pixar and Marvel were planing on making a movie together about 2 months ago. Marvel wanted to team up with Pixar and make a movie kinda like The Incredibles 2. Brad Bird, director of The Incredibles, was in for the idea, but John Lassaster, director of Toy Story, wasn't so sure.
Just today John Lassaster said no to the movie plot. He said to the Marvel company-
"Disney has been great. Bob Iger is phenomenal. I’m Chief Creative Officer of Disney Animation as well, and with Pixar it’s like, “Keep doing what you’re doing, guys.” It’s a filmmaker-driven studio. All of the ideas come from the filmmakers themselves. Working with the filmmakers on ideas.
IGN: So there probably wouldn’t be any kind of chance of seeing that kind of team-up then?
No, not at Pixar. We have The Incredibles, so we’ve done superheroes here ourselves and so we have that kind of history with Brad Bird doing The Incredibles".
I'm actually glad they won't do a movie together. Besides Disney already bought Marvel, I don't understand why Marvel needs Pixar.

Sony Animation's Instant Karma

Sony Animation is developing there seventh feature film. (Next to The Smurfs and How to Survive a Gnome Attack) Its called Instand Karma, it's about a safecracker in New Orleans who finds himself reincarnated as a fly after suffering a near-death experience. Its title refers to what comes next: The more he performs good deeds, the sooner he’s able to move up the food chain and turn into different animals, such as a frog, a raccoon and a dog. Realizing that this is the only way to get back his human body and to rejoin the woman he loves, he tries his best to keep up the good behavior.
I don't really like Sony Animation. The only movie I liked from them was Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. The plot of Instand Karma is kinda like Rango meets The Fly.
Well intel the trailer comes out I'll give you the top news.

Hoodwinked Too: Hood vs Evil, review

"Hoodwinked Too: Hood vs Evil" is coming out on Friday. The movie doesn't look good, and neither does the animation. I think that the first one was better and had better animation then this one. At first I thought that it was gonna come out in DVD but not in theaters.
The movie only got 10% rotten (bad) on the tomatoemeter on Rotten Tomatoes. Hop got more reviews then Hoodwinked 2.
I would of thought that the animation was gonna be better then the first. Kinda like comparing Toy Story 1, and 2 with Toy Story 3.
I would not like to see it, but that's my opinion.

Happy Birthday Kevin James!!!!

The hilarious actor that brought you "The King of Queens" and "Paul Blart: Mall Cop", and the wonderful voice talents as "Otis the cow" on "Barnyard: The Original Party Animals", and "Officer Landers" in my favorite "Monster House" is already 45.
     Anyway, happy Birthday!

Cars 2 better then Toy Story 3?

With Cars 2 coming out in theaters June 24, theirs allot of buzz if its gonna be the same as the first Cars or if its gonna be this years Toy Story 3.
The producer of the film, Denise Ream, says that "Cars 2 is bigger than Pixar’s ever done, We go to way more locations, we have way more sets, way more characters, it’s the biggest effects film we’ve ever done.”
To be honest with you I'm actually looking forward for this movie. I noticed the characters shoot each other. I even saw a clip for the film.
I don't know if this is gonna be better then Toy Story 3. They said that Rio was this years Toy Story 3, but to me it wasn't Pixar. Check out the clip.

Rio #1 for 2 weeks!

I just saw the movie Rio last week, and I have to say it was worth watching. The colors in the movie is what makes the hole movie special. It actually made me want to go visit Rio De Jenerio in Brazil, which is were the movie is based on.
The movie has been #1 for 2 weeks already, beating Hop which was #1 for like 5 days. Rio got a pretty good rating on the tamatometer  on the Rotten Tomatoes website. It got a 73% and got the "certified fresh" seal. As for Hop that only got 24% rotten, which is really bad.
I didn't see it in 3-D but 3-D movies these days are horrible considering the fact that nothing pops out at you anyway.
Go see the #1 movie in America. I'm sure you will like it. Its not as good as "Rango" but you'll like it.

New "Top Cat" movie to come out in 3-D, and opening in Mexico

I always loved the timeless classic of "Top Cat", and I always wanted to see a movie about the yellow cat with the purple hat and vest.
They announced a new movie to come out of "Top Cat" in Mexico, and in 3-D. I was looking forward for it, but when I heard that it was gonna come out in the south, It was a bit disappointing.
This isn't like any kind of a "remake of a classic" kind of thing, ( not like new Yogi Bear, or Scooby Doo, or the upcoming film "The Smurfs" which kind of looks disappointing) it is hand drawn with 2-D animation. So its a relief that Top Cat isn't gonna be animated and the police officer guy isn't gonna be a real actor.
Well, if you live in Mexico and like the cartoon, its gonna come out in theaters September in 3-D

Welcome.....

Welcome to the new, and official guide to all things animated. From movies, games, and t.v. shows. Enjoy.
