New "Despicable Me 2" poster

Despicable Me was a huge success last year, and won the Kids Choice Awards last year beating Toy Story 3. Now the characters are back from the film. And hears the first international poster for Despicable Me 2.

New "Cars" toy for the iPad

The iPad has done many impossible things with technology and made it awesome. Like Angry Birds or having a computer in your pocket. Now there is this app and comes with a cool Pixar Cars toy. Its awesome. But wont the iPad get scratches?

"Rango" as 1 of the funniest comedys of this year

Rango has been a huge success on screen (not when a mom sued the film because there were to much shooting, drinking, and smoking in the film). It was the best movie I've seen.
eGlobal Newz released an article of the funniest movies this year. Rango was named at the list at #5. Leaving The Dilemma at #6 and Arther at #7. The one that deserves its title is my favorite film this year Horrible Bosses. And also there was Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules at #10.

New "Tintin" video in Germany

Tintin is coming and after seeing this I want to see it even more. Not like Cars 2 that was a wast of time, but this looks amazing.
More action and more suspense than ever, the thing is this video is in Germany.

"Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorperated" DVD

Cartoon Network has made many related stories on the classic Scooby-Doo! franchise. Like Whats New Scooby-Doo!? or the 5 year old version of the show or all those movies that they made of how the gang met. Will this is one of them. I'm not a very good fan to Cartoon Network, the only shows I watch are The Looney Tunes Show and The Amazing World of Gumball, also Mad.
The DVD for the shows first season. I don't really like the show as its like a goth Scooby-Doo! But hey, that's my opinion.

Disney extending "The Lion King"?

The Lion King was a huge success in 1994 and is even more successful in 2011, but is that enough for Disney? The news is that the studio wants to make the film more longer. So there gonna re-release the movie again in theaters. Maby before the DVD release or after. The details are not yet that specific.
Man, just let The Lion King alone. Pixar released both Toy Story 1 and 2 in 3-D and that's it.

Lee Unkrich to direct "Toy Story 4"?

There was huge controversy at D23, like the untitled Pixar film about dinosaurs and the film that takes you inside the mind. But there were no news on the fourth Toy Story. Tom Hanks spelled the beans with it, John Lasseter tried to hide the film, then it was announced that Toy Story 4 is set to release 2015. Now, the director has been announced.
Toy Story 3 director Lee Unkrich has been chosen to be the director for the next chapter in the series. I just can't believe that Pixar would do this. There is still no news about the next film, but still everyone said the third Toy Story was gonna be flop, but look what Unkrich did.

"Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness" review

Like the Madagascar inspired Nick show The Penguins of Madagascar there will be another Dreamworks franchise to join the Nick family. Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness.
The show came out Wednesday but I got to see it this morning with the new episode of The Penguins. Its got the same animation as The Penguins. It doesn't have funny jokes though. The kung fu in it isn't as epic as the movies. But hey its still Kung Fu Panda.
   I don't know I guess see it.

New "Puss in Boots" video

First he was as legendary as the man in the Dos Eques commercials, now hes got swag as he does the role of the classic Old Spice man. Man, this cat is amazing, he can a ride a horse (that suspiciously looks like Donkey when he was a stallion in Shrek 2).

New "Winnie the Pooh" clip

Hears a new clip from the greatest film this year, Winnie the Pooh. Check it out.

"Angry Birds Wonder Pistachios" commercial

Theirs allot of great and entertaining commercials from pistachios company, Wonderful Pistachios. Like my favorite is the Peanuts themed commercial that shows Lucy doing her classic football move on Charlie Brown. Then theirs this very funny commercial that shows the real Winklevoss Twins (man, I want there last name), the twins that wanted to steal the idea of Facebook from Mark Zuckleburg.
Now theirs this one and the best of great Angry Birds. Its awesome, but when he goes it looks like hes gonna miss the pig.

"Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked" trailer

The third sequel to dumbest movies ever Alvin and the Chipmunks have released there new trailer. Please don't like it.

"Sabrina the Teenage Witch" to go on T.V.?

Sabrina the Teenage Witch was as popular as any girl-famed show. It then became a very popular movie for all ages. To be honest I liked the cartoon series as much as any kid would.
Any way the news is that the lovable and my favorite Archie comics and Moonscoop Entertainment are gonna team up to do a 3-D animated version of Sabrina. Its gonna be cool. But looking at the picture above, I'm thinking that this version is gonna be all "witchy" and not all sweet with funny witch jokes like the last one. I just hope they bring back the cat and that boy that always hangs out with Sabrina.
The show is set to premiere October 2012.

New "Cars" short clip

Cars 2 is coming out November 1, and its not only gonna have the Toy Story short Hawaiian Vacation. Its also gonna have a new Mater's Tall Tales. Mater is back with more impossible stories to tell. This short will be called Air Mater. Check out the clip above.

"Happy Feet Two" T.V. spot

Happy Feet Two is coming out soon, and it has allot of buzz. It will show the same faces with some new voices. So yeah I guess this could be cool. It shows good animation, but whats the story. Does the little penguin can't dance? Well hears the TV spot.

New "Spongebob" museum

The yellow sponge is so popular that hes gonna have his own museum. It will open at Russia in Falcon Design Plant, Moscow. It will start in September 16 and will end in October 2nd.
I've seen some of the pictures and there awesome. Better than The Simpsons' own channel... no it isn't.

"The Simpsons" letter

Barbra Bush received a letter from the famous Marge Simpson. She received a letter from the cartoon after she said on People that "The Simpsons is the dumbest thing I've seen". Its very weird, but hears the letter.

"The Simpsons/Apollo 13" mash up

The Simpsons have made there own version of the film Apollo 13. It was very amusing. And with the classic animation. Check it out.

"Dumbo: Special Edition" DVD review: "Buy it"

Disney's and my favorite movie Dumbo will be released for the first time in high-definition. Its basically from the tradition at Disney to re-release one of there timeless classics. I've never owned one except for the greatest movie of all time Pinocchio the special edition.
Dumbo has more special features than ever. With deleted scenes, a making-of featurette, art galleries, two bonus shorts, and more.
Anyway buy it for your kids, or just simply remind yourself of your childhood.

"The Lion King 3-D" opens up at #1

Although The Lion King went down points from 92% to 88% (really good) on the Tomatoemeter, that didn't stop the feature for opening up at #1 leaving Contagion (84% really good) and Drive (92% really good).
The only thing I'm asking is, will The Lion King get an Oscar? I mean yeah it got a chance at the Oscars the year it came out originally, but what know? Winnie the Pooh could get a chance this year. Only time will tell.

Happy Meal TVC - Tom & Jerry (IT)

I don't know what country this is, but its supposedly a McDonald's commercial. The commercial was for the popular Happy Meal. It also showed some not so good animation of Tom and Jerry. Hear it is.

"Spongebob Squarepants" season 8 review

Every body loves the greatest sponge Spongebob. His new season premiered today on Nickelodeon. It wasn't as big as they do to (dumb) iCarly.
Spongebob is one of the best cartoons ever. As it has beautiful animation, and some weird live action sequences its the perfect cartoon.
Everyone watch this premiere, even though there was a study that kids under 4 years old get brain damage from watching the cartoon. So....

"Cars 2" highest movie ever?

Cars 2 may not get any Oscars but that didn't stop Pixar. It got $189 million domestically. Then has $548 million total to date when combined with all international box office figures. That making this the highest movie of the year.
Well the years not over, maby Puss in Boots will get more.

"The Simpsons" to get there own channel?

The longest running sitcom ever to be on air, and next to Spongebob, makes yellow look good just might get there own channel. Sure the show has over 500 episodes and is on there 23 season, but good enough for there own channel? Hears what CEO of Fox had to say-
Carey said there have been a “number of meetings” to determine how to capitalize on its library of episodes of The Simpsons and he mentioned a digital channel featuring nothing but Homer and the gang as being a possibility. Carey said it is incumbent on the company to take advantage of a show that is “unique in television with a volume, too, that is unprecedented.”
Well it could happen, in like more then 10 years. But I don't know. Should there be an all Simpsons channel?

New "La Luna" photo

The more and more stuff of La Luna I see, the more I can't wait to see this. This just looks amazing. Check it out.

"The Lorax" synopsis

Illumination Entertainment has released the official plot synopsis to Dr. Seuss' The Lorax. This will be the studios 3rd film, based on Dr. Seuss' classic that shows us the lessons of nature. Hears the plot-
The 3D-CGI feature Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax is an adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ classic tale of a forest creature who shares the enduring power of hope.  The animated adventure follows the journey of a boy as he searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams.  To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world. Danny DeVito will lend his vocal talents to the iconic title character of the Lorax, while Ed Helms will voice the enigmatic Once-ler.  Also bringing their talents to the film are global superstars Zac Efron as Ted, the idealistic young boy who searches for the Lorax, and Taylor Swift as Ashley, the girl of Ted’s dreams.  Rob Riggle will play financial king O’Hare, and beloved actress Betty White will portray Ted’s wise Grammy Norma. Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax is the third feature created by Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment (Despicable Me, Hop).
This actually sounds good, not like Despicable Me and Hop.

Enrico Casarosa on Pixar's Dinosuar film

Enrico Casarosa witch is the director of the new Pixar short La Luna is also the head writer of the untitled Pixar film about dinosuars. He told The Pixar Blog about the film-
I’ve been the head of story for quite a few months on Pixar’s Untitled Dinosaur Movie, which is directed by Bob Peterson and co-directed by Pete Sohn. I’ve been working on it for a few months and it’s been a lot of fun. They’re a laugh riot. So we’re having a good time. It’s been bad to kinda help someone else tell his story, but being the head of story is a new experience for me, so it’s been fun. And they have a wonderful, wonderful premise for all this. So it’s been a lot of fun.
    Man, I can't wait.

"The Lion King 3-D" review: "See in theaters"

The Lion King was a huge success in 1994, and still is. Now kids of this generation will see Simba in a hole new way. Also kids get there own special 3-D glasses.
The Lion King is the best 2-D animated film I've seen. Its got beautiful animation, amazing story, and great music. As it teaches us all day life lessons we go through. With heat warming tales only Disney can do.
Anyway, see in theaters. You'll love every bit of this humors story.

New "Ice Age: Contential Drift" poster

We all love the Ice Age franchise, but too much love if theirs gonna be a 4th film. You know about the all Scrat trailer/short for the film.
The animation looks great, and theirs a new character. But an all pirate themed Ice Age? What about Aardmans' The Pirates!?
Lets see how this turns out.

"Family Guy" season 10

Fall is coming and that means that our favorite shows will premiere there new seasons. I'm looking forward for Modern Family and I wanna see who the new boss will on The Office, then coming this Friday Spongebob will release its new season.
Now, Family Guy's 10th season will premiere in movie theaters with exclusive footage on September 15, 201.
I wonder if they'll show it in Oregon.

"Lion King" glasses

The Lion King 3-D is hitting theaters Friday and when you go see it your kids will love it as more. Now with there very own 3-D glasses. Check it out.

DreamWorks Animation - Highlight Reel

Dreamworks is second to the most popular animated studio next to Pixar. The studio has made this awesome video of there most recent films. But no Megamind, that's like the best movie I've seen.

10 things you didn't know about "The Lion King"

With The Lion King hitting theaters in 3-D, I would like to show you some stuff that you didn't (or did) know about the film. Here they are-
  1. The original title of the movie wasn't The Lion King it was King of the Jungle and King of Beasts.
  2. Pride Rock was created in Burbank because there isn't in Africa.
  3. Zazu was originally a smaller specie of bird, he is a Hornbill.
  4. It took Disney 9 months to make The Lion King in 3-D.
  5. The creative team brought real lions to the studio to animate there movements, also did they bring real deers to animate Bambi.
  6. Rafiki was more serious originally, then the producers made him wacky and fun.
  7. NATHAN LANE AND ERNIE SABELLA originally wanted to be the Hyenas. Then became Timon and Pumbaa.
  8. The Hakuna Matata song wasn't gonna be in the movie.
  9. Pumbaa's belly rubbing was inspired by an animator's pregnant wife.
  10. Cheech and Chong were supposed to voice the Hyenas.

"Puss in Boots" is legendary

Puss in Boots is almost hear and he will be legendary. This is the coolest video I've seen even for Puss. As Dreamworks takes the classic commercials of Caption Morgan with a little twist. Hahaha!!! Check out the video, oh and "Stay furry my friends".

LAIKA to make novel "Wildwood"

The studio that brought you Coraline and releasing next year ParaNorman will now make Colin Meloy, singer for The Decemberists, and his wife Carson Ellis's young adult novel Wildwood in to a film. The book is about “Prue McKneel, a young lady who must confront a world filled with magic and danger after her younger brother is kidnapped, forcing her to enter the Impassable Wilderness" The book is based on Portland OR. Which is good because I live in Oregon and its rare to hear Oregon in a film.
CEO Travis Knight said a bout the film-
It’s a story in the grand tradition of Tolkien, as big as ‘Lord of the Rings’ with a wonderful contemporary quality as well. Nothing of its kind has been attempted in our medium. You have these epic scenes alongside very nuanced character moments, which are the two hardest things to do in stop-motion. It’s exciting to imagine how this might all come together.
Lets see how this turns out.

"Rango" gets award

H'wood Film Fest is gonna give the award of animation to the best film this year Rango. Kudo, announced Tuesday, will presented at the festival's awards ceremony on Oct. 24 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
This is awesome. And all those awards went to Pixar films. Such as "Cars," "Ratatouille," "Toy Story 3," "Up," and "Wall-E." Finally not Pixar.

Jennifer Yuh Nelson's record

Kung Fu Panda 2 grossed out almost $650 million globally. This making director of the film, Jennifer Yuh Nelson the highest grossing female director of all time. This is amazing. To have the highest grossing female director to be a director of an animated film. Both her and Dreamworks should be proud.

New "Toy Story" short and date of "La Luna"

Everyone loved the new Toy Story short that appeared in front of Cars 2. Now the new short of the toys will appear in front of The Muppets. The new short will be called Small Fry. It will be about how Buzz accidentally gets replaced by a 3-inced Buzz from a Happy Meal, while Woody goes off to find the real Buzz. Jane Lynch will lend a voice for the short.
Also the other short which I'm dying to see will appear in front of next years Brave

"Planes" cast

"The world above Cars" as said in the trailer of Disneytoon's new DVD film Planes. Now the cast has more and more voices to the film. Jon Cryer famous as Alan from Two and a Half Man will be the lead voice of the character Dusty. Also will he join Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond) in the film.
    This film just looks bad.

Studio Ghibli announces 2 new films

The studio that brought you Ponyo and Kiki's Delivery will release two new films for this year and the next.
The first film will be on Arrietty witch is based on Mary Norton’s classic children’s series The Borrowers. Set to be released this year for February 27 in the U.S.
The second film will be called Taketori Monogatari (in English, The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter). The story revolves around Princess Kaguya, who was discovered as a baby inside the stalk of a glowing bamboo plant by an old bamboo cutter. Takahata’s been working on the film for a couple of years already.
I love this anime studio. Its like the Pixar of Asia.

Pixar's two new films synopses

I posted about Pixar having planed two new animated films. Now the studio has the synopses.
The first film will be about the long rumored dinosaur film that will be directed by Bob Peterson who was the co-director/writer of Up. Peter Sohn will co-direct the film, which directed Partly Cloudy, the short film paired with Up. John Walker will produce the film also produced The Incredibles. Now hears the synopses-
What if that life-changing asteroid missed Earth? Director Bob Peterson’s hilarious tale depicts a world where dinosaurs never went extinct.
The second film will be about the human mind. I don't know how there going to do this one but all well. The film will be directed by Up directer Pete Docter. The movie is described as he says- "An inventive new film that explores a world that everyone knows, but no one has seen: inside the human mind".
Man Pixar is going over the top. These movies sound amazing.

New "Monsters University" images

There was a huge week for me and other Pixar fans when they heard of the two mystery film now about dinosaurs and about the human mind. Then theirs more news on Brave and now Monsters University.
Anyway the charters in the film are 18 and as John Lasseter said- "An animated college movie". And Mike and Sully are gonna be 18, so here's the characters.
Here's Mike. Mike is shorter, freckled, has smaller horns and is sporting a retainer. (Above)
Whereas, Sulley is thinner, hairier and shaggier. (Below)
   These look amazing.

John Lasseter on top of the list

Vanity Fair New Establishment List honored Cars 2 director John Lasseter as #8 on the list, one above Lady Gaga. The other members of the list are at #1 is Facebook founder Mark Zuckerbeg, Google co-founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin at #2, and representetives of Amazon at #3, Apple at #4, Twitter at #5 and more.
Lasseter is like the luckiest guy ever.

Disney secretly released "Beauty and the Beast 3-D"

A few weeks ago I posted about the re-release of the Disney classic Beauty and the Beast, but I never said anything about the the date. Allot of people were shocked to see that El Capitan theater released the film. Also with The Lion King 3-D which was a huge success.
The film will be from the 2nd to the 25th of September. And on DVD October bought Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. Too bad I don't have a 3-D t.v.

New "Toy Story" toys

Pixar and Habbro have a lot of toys together, but now they're taking the characters of Toy Story to the world of Buzz Lightyear as they make a franchise called Toy Story: Space Mission.
Habbro made a trailer with beautiful stop motion. Hears some facts about the trailer-

  • It took a crew of 8 people over more than 1300 hours and a span of 4 weeks to complete the toymation
  • Every second needed 12 frames of pictures
  • Every shot needed at least 3 takes, many of which had to be done separately with each toy and then composited together later
  • Each toy had to be taken apart and reassembled with wire and museum putty in order to be rigged properly to animate
  • The dust bunnies were created from an old carpet the team almost threw out right before production on the toymation project began
  • The crew made 5 trips to the supermarket to clear out their asparagus, big broccoli heads, and artichokes to build the vegetable forest set
I actually think that the moral of this story is that the kids tell the story, and these toys look bad I mean Woody in a spacesuit?
